Community Investment at H&P
Our mission is to invest in programs that align with H&P values and enhance quality of life and economic well-being in the communities within the U.S. where H&P operates. Our corporate giving is guided by the program's mission. From there, we determined four areas of focus for the program.

Additional Criteria
In addition to falling in to one of our four areas of focus, the following criteria must be met for an organization or event to be eligible for our corporate giving program.

510(c)(3) Status
Charitable organization is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. A copy of your status determination letter from the IRS is required when applying.

Compliance
Charitable organization is in full compliance with all federal, state and local laws or regulations.

Geographic Area
Program, project or event addresses charitable community-related issues in an H&P operating area. (U.S. only.)

Eligibility
We are unable to contribute to individual persons, team sports or partisan organizations. Religious groups and churches are also ineligible with the exception of giving for programs or projects that benefit the broad community.
Application Timing
Applications are reviewed monthly. Sponsorships for events must be submitted at least least six weeks prior to the the event in order to allow time for review and processing.
