Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (NYSE: HP) announced today it is officially moving its Tulsa headquarters downtown to the newly constructed building at 222 N. Detroit Ave.
“We are beyond excited to be moving to this new space in the historic Greenwood District,” said H&P President and CEO John Lindsay. “Our current space has served us well for close to 20 years, but we are moving in order to provide our employees with more modern work places that provide greater opportunity to collaborate and innovate. Our goal is to reduce our total footprint and provide a higher quality work environment for our employees. This new building does all of that while also honoring our 100-year legacy and commitment to Tulsa.”
H&P originally moved its headquarters to Tulsa in 1926 and has been a long-standing member of the community ever since. The company will occupy approximately 80,000 square feet of space on three floors including the top two floors and will have top building signage. The company has hired Gensler architects to design the space with a scheduled move in date of early 2024.
The new space features modern building control systems and security features, enhanced visibility in the community being centrally located in downtown between Guthrie Green and the Greenwood District and was designed with sustainability and lower environmental impact in mind. H&P was represented by Lucian Bukowski, Bob Pielsticker, Matt Reese and Dylan Siebert with CBRE in the transaction.
