Tulsa Heart Walk Recap

Tulsa Heart Walk

This past weekend, team members from the Tulsa office participated in the American Heart Association’s Tulsa Heart Walk. Intermittent rain showers slowed the start of the walk, but didn’t stop the team, their families and pets from walking the course in downtown Tulsa.

“The American Heart Association has been an important part of H&P’s community involvement for several years,” said Mike Lennox, senior vice president of land operations and H&P’s 2022 team coach. “This year, we were excited to get back together in person and walk as a group. The turnout was good, despite the rainy forecast, and everyone really had a great time!”

Walkers could choose between a one- or three- mile course through downtown Tulsa.

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event for raising funds to save lives from two of the country's top five killers - heart disease and stroke. Learn more about heart health at www.heart.org.
